Making Simple Shapes: Heart and Flower

Want “stickers” to put on your photograph? Why don’t you make your own custom one? After all, what is collage but a super-sticker machine? Here are some simple iconic objects that you can make in Muzy collage to stick anywhere, using a little shading and a few simple 2-dimensional shapes.

Heart

Let’s start at the “heart” of things, as it were. Hearts are everywhere. There are plenty of hearts on Muzy, but why not make your own? Personally, I prefer the swirling, free-style hearts that are off-center and tumbling over themselves toward something amazing… but let’s start with a balanced, geometric heart. This is James. He seems to quite like the Effects editor.

The Effects editor offers a multitude of new ways to edit your photos and creations, whether it be a quick change of colors to adding an awesome frame or transforming one of your drawings into a vintage photo. Here is a way to make awesome creations without having to be a fine artist or spend a lot of time on a collage! Put a new twist on photos and bring new life to old items in your gallery.

The Effects editor can be found on the tool bar to the right on the create page, as well as next to usable items in the expandable ‘Use’ menu to their right. This will give you the option to also edit others’ creations and photos on Muzy!

Now is the time for fun and games on Muzy. Muzy’s new stretch editor allows you to distort, twist, and swirl your images for funny and impressive effects. The stretch tool lets you stretch out items so that they look bulbous, pinch them in so that they look small, or do any combination of stretching and pushing so that the items take on a distorted shape. Eyes are the first thing you look at when you meet somebody new. You have been looking back at them all your life – that’s not such an easy thing to forget! They express emotion just by how the shape of the skin around them changes and with a little practice, you will soon see some eyes starting back at you from the Muzy canvases!
